More trees for Princeton block: phase 1

Last week felt like Christmas when we got five new street trees for our block -- filling every empty existing well. Next up: the stretch of block alongside the Barnes School will be planted with (hopefully) six to seven trees in the fall -- at least that's what we were told by the City arborist in response to the request we helped Barnes' management submit. We will also be working with individual homeowners over the summer to request new wells / trees in front of their homes -- can't imagine that leading to actual trees before spring of 2020, but that's really not that far off, and the results will be well worth the wait! Ryan and I put a lot of time and effort into getting this process started, and it's great to see some immediate results and know that more will be coming. We'd love to share what we've learned and help anyone who wants to take on a similar initiative for their own block -- please feel free to reach out to us via this website!
