“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” ~ Barack Obama

In addition, you can take action on your own right now in any of the following ways:
  • Sweep in front of your home -- it has immediate benefits and you'll be setting a good example for others

  • Pick up litter when you see it -- and/or --

  • Report street/sidewalk litter using the City's 311 app or by calling 311

  • If you don't already have one, request a street tree for your home by using the City's 311 app or by calling 311

  • Talk to your neighbors about requesting their own street trees (note that requests have to come from property owners)

  • Help care for other street trees on your block -- especially the young ones which need a lot of water in their early years

  • Plant something in front of your home -- even if all you can do is a small pot of flowers

  • Let the City hear your concerns!  You can call Councilor Lydia Edwards at 617.635.3200 or our Neighborhood Liaison Lina Tramelli at 617.635.2681
